At my 6 month checkup I weighed in at a whopping 21 lbs, 7 oz and was 28 inches tall (100% for both weight and height!). On June 19, 1998 I went for my first "swim". I had so much fun! It was like a great big bathtub. I also got my first portraits taken this month. They turned out so beautiful!

August was a big month! I turned 8 months old and really started getting somewhere. I could pull myself up to stand, could walk with help and on August 18, 1998, I started crawling! Mommy, Daddy and Katie were so excited. They had been working real hard to help me learn. Mommy says I looked like I was in a marching band when she helped me walk. In September, during my 9th month, I started holding my bottle all by myself and waved "bye-bye" for the first time. I love to wave bye-bye to the Teletubbies!

I started off my 10th month by visiting the Ft. Worth Zoo for the first time. We had such a good time. Grandpa Day also got me a cool bike for Mommy to start pushing me around on. It is so much fun! I have started doing lots of cute things, too. Mommy says, "Yaaaay!" and I clap my hands. And when we play with dolls and stuffed animals, I hold them up to my shoulder and pat their back and say, "Awwww." Mommy and Daddy get so tickled when they see it! I also LOVE babies. I've also started to try and stand and walk by myself. Mommy and Daddy have been helping me try to walk and so far I've taken about 3 steps twice. October 31st was my first Halloween. I wore a ladybug costume that Mommy made for me. We went to Boo at the Zoo to play and trick-or-treat. Mommy also took me and Katie to get our Halloween pictures taken but I got a little fussy so I look a little sad in a couple of the pictures.

It's November and I'm 11 months old now. I kind of backed off on the walking for awhile. But on my Daddy's birthday (11/10) I took 6 steps! This year was my first Thanksgiving! We went to my great-grandma Mimi's house in Abilene. There was lots of good food and wonderful company! Then we had family/Christmas pictures done on the 28th. I didn't like it too much. The lady taking the pictures was kind of scaring me and I cried. So, we didn't get any pictures of me by myself. Also, on the 28th, after pictures, Mommy and Daddy needed a break so we went to Chuck E Cheese's. This was my first time there and it was really fun! That's about it for now.
